Bonding: how TAV makes seamless garments
Bonding is a construction technology, not a product category. Panels are joined and edges finished with heat-activated film instead of thread, so the garment has no stitched seams. This is how TAV produces seamless, no-show underwear. TAV does not knit garments and does not run circular seamless knitting machines.

How bonding works
Panels are joined and edges finished with heat-activated adhesive film, pressed with heat instead of sewn with thread. Fabric edges are laser- or ultrasonically cut so they lie flat without hemming. At TAV the same CWS (construction without sewing) line is used for underwear, activewear and swimwear.

Bonded seamless underwear
What is bonded seamless underwear?
Bonded seamless underwear has no stitched seams or hems. Panels are fused with film and edges are laser-cut, giving the smooth, no-show finish buyers know as seamless underwear, without knitting. TAV produces women's no-show briefs and men's briefs and trunks this way.
